Looking at the stars, listening to music, going on a long, long drive with a bunch of friends, or maybe just one special person, without worrying about the time, without worrying about when I should be home or what I have to wake up for in the morning. Just laid back.
I should be outside tonight. Sitting by the firepit, surrounded by good conversations and good vibes, relaxing in a jacuzzi, or catching the double feature at the drive-in theater. Soaking in every ounce of this beautiful night.
I just wanna be a good father to my kids. When that time comes, I wanna be an accessible, role model of a dad who’s always there in a time of need and I want to make sure that I’m able to leave my kids with a lasting impression. Imagine what it would feel like knowing your kids don’t respect you, or knowing that you failed them as a parent.
